The export value of agricultural and husbandry products rose by 94% and 3.5% to 2.7 billion USD and 36 million USD, respectively.
Meanwhile, earnings from aquatic and forestry products reached 730 million USD and 1.49 billion USD, rising by 61% and 72% in comparison to the same period last year.
The export value of agricultural, forestry and fishery products to all markets increased. Among them, exports to the Americas reached nearly 1.2 billion USD (up 93.6%); Africa 104 million USD (up 185%); Asia more than 2.5 billion USD (up 86%); and Europe 532 million USD (up 38%).
Vietnam spent 3.7 billion USD importing agro-forestry-aquatic products in January, an increase of 45% from the corresponding time last year, said the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development.
