Afghan government forces kill Taliban’s key commander

(VOVWORLD) -A key Taliban commander Mullah Hemmatullah has been killed as government forces launched air strikes against the militant group's hideout in Nawbahar district of the southern Zabul.

Government war planes targeted a meeting of Taliban fighters in Piruzi village on Friday morning. 10 militants were killed including Hemmatullah.
