The activities were jointly organized by the Red Cross Society of Hanoi and Thanh Hoa province to implement this year’s "Safety for poor and disadvantaged fishermen" program.

Other activities included building houses for poor fishermen and their families and giving scholarships and bikes to deserving students from poor households.

A delegation from Hai Duong province visited and presented gifts to children and adults at the provincial Social Protection Center, the Center for Mental Nurturing, People with Meritorious Service, and the Center for Humanitarian Activities of the provincial Red Cross Society.
