99,000 enterprises apply for licenses in 9 months

(VOVWORLD) - Despite severe impacts of the COVID-19 epidemic, nearly 99,000 enterprises in Vietnam applied for licenses in the first 9 months of this year, according to the General Statistics Office. 34,6000 enterprises resumed operation, up 25.5% over the same period last year.

The General Statistics Office said businesses’ confidence remains high as it cited surveys of manufacturing enterprises showing that more than 32% of respondents believed the production and business situation in the third quarter of 2020 was better than the second quarter, while nearly 36% of surveyed enterprises said that the business and production situation was stable.
