Addressing the event, National Assembly Chairwoman Nguyen Thi Kim Ngan asked the province to tap its potential to further promote the local growth: “The festival will help promote Da Lat agricultural products and tourism in the future. I believe that the local Party Committee, administration and people of Lam Dong province will be united and bring into play its strength to boost the local growth and make Da Lat more attractive to tourists.”
The 7th Da Lat Flower festival features a range of activities and sideline events, such as Da Lat wine night, flower and ornamental exhibitions, vegetable markets, fashion show, and Ao Dai fashion week among others. The key event of the festival is the “Week of Tea and Silk Culture” promoting local tea and silk industry of Bao Loc Town. The festival aims to highlight the beauty of Da Lat flowers, honor Da Lat flower growers, and attract more investment in local tourism.
