(VOVworld) – The National Public Security forces will do their best to implement the Party and State’s guidelines, especially the Party Central Committee’s Resolution on strategies to protect the fatherland in new situations in 2014.

Minister of Public Security Tran Dai Quang stated this at the 69^th National Public Security Conference that closed in Hanoi on Thursday. He added the public security forces will consult the Party and State regarding policies and solutions to prevent or defeat plots and activities by hostile forces to eliminate any possible risk of political instability or social disorder, and to maintain national security in any circumstances. Delegates to the two-day conference contributed their opinions to the reports presented at the event, reviewed the sector’s work in the past year, and set out plans for next year.
