63 businesses receive National Brand Awards

(VOVworld) – 63 businesses received National Brand Awards for 2014 on Tuesday for their strong brand name development. The awards were given by the Vietnam National Trademark Council and the Ministry of Industry and Trade.

(VOVworld) – 63 businesses received National Brand Awards for 2014 on Tuesday for their strong brand name development. The awards were given by the Vietnam National Trademark Council and the Ministry of Industry and Trade to businesses in engineering, machinery, garments and textiles, footwear, electronics, information technology, telecommunications, agriculture, forestry, seafood, finance, food, services, construction, and real estate.  

At the award ceremony, Deputy Prime Minister Hoang Trung Hai congratulated the honorees, who have proven the competitiveness of Vietnamese businesses in wider international integration. He asked the Vietnam National Trademark Council to work on proposals for improving the awards program. Mr. Hai promised continued government effort to stabilize the macro-economy and facilitate business.

Mr. Hai said: “I want businesses to be more active and creative in developing their brand names. Vietnam is proud of each product, even small ones, exported to the world market. Building a national trademark benefits both the company and Vietnam. I urge enterprises to tighten their management and spread their pride in their products and trademarks”.
