According to the organizers, the month-long festival drew 60,000 visitors with a series of standout events. Highlights included a record 1,111 tea maidens performing a “Viet Tea Ritual” ceremony on the Bao Loc hills, the reopening of a historic 1927 tea factory, an exhibition of 1,000 ancient tea trees, and an international tea culture space featuring products, modern production models, and traditions from Vietnam, China, Japan, France, Sri Lanka and Taiwan (China).
The festival concluded with an art program that dramatically reenacted the journey from solemn tea-offering rituals and efforts to strengthen cultural, diplomatic, and economic connections to the youthful creativity and lively international atmosphere of the festival.
