(VOVworld) – A 7-year contract worth 600 million USD for supplying a floating production, storage and offloading (FPSO) vessel was signed this week between PetroVietnam Technical Services Corporation (PTSC) and Lam Son Joint Operating Company (LSJOC) to serve the Thang Long-Dong Do mine development project. The FPSO is designed to store a minimum of 350,000 barrels of crude, handle 18,000 barrels of oil per day, and operate continuously for 10 years. This is the 6th FPSO deployed by PTSC. The FPSO is scheduled to be put into operation by the end of 2013.
