44 new COVID-19 cases reported Tuesday morning

(VOVWORLD) - The Health Ministry reports 44 new COVID-19 cases in the past 12 hours to 6am Tuesday, including one imported case.

The 43 domestically-transmitted cases included 22 in Bac Giang, 6 in Bac Ninh and 15 in Ho Chi Minh City, who were all in quarantined or locked-down areas.
The imported case was sent to quarantine right upon arrival in the central province of Quang Nam.
To date, Vietnam has found 7,445 domestically-transmitted and 1,582 imported cases. The number of cases detected since April 27 when the fourth wave of the pandemic began in the country is 5,875.
The number of recoveries is 3,509, while the number of fatalities stands at 53.
Among patients undergoing treatment in medical establishments, 216 tested negative for SARS-CoV-2 once, 72 twice and 75 thrice.
On June 7, 87,016 additional COVID-19 vaccine shots were injected, raising the total delivered vaccine doses as of 4pm the same day to 1.34 million, with 38,166 people receiving full two shots.
