(VOVworld) – Vietnamese Ambassador to Germany Nguyen Thi Hoang Anh highlighted the strengthening of the Vietnam-Germany friendship which expresses itself in high-level visits every year. At a ceremony in Berlin on Tuesday to salute 40 years of bilateral ties, Ms. Hoang Anh expressed her confidence that the strategic partnership will be deepened by upcoming visits to Vietnam by German Foreign Minister Frank-Walter Steinmeier and Parliamentary Speaker Norbert Lammert.

The anniversary has been commemorated by the release of a stamp designed and issued by the Vietnamese embassy and the Deutsche Post. Follow-up activities including delegation exchanges and other people-to-people diplomacy will enhance mutual understanding and multifaceted cooperation.
