(VOVworld) - The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights says the IS on Saturday conducted a number of attacks on Deir al-Zour province in south Syria, killing 35 government soldiers.

According to the SOHR, IS struck several urban districts of the oil-rich Deir al-Zour province bordering Turkey.
The organization noted that also on Saturday at least 16 IS militants were killed in a separate attack targeting government military forces in Aleppo, northern Syria.
