300 volunteers to be deployed to Hue Festival 2018

(VOVWORLD) -300 volunteers selected from 1,600 young applicants in Thua Thien Hue province will work for this year’s Hue Festival slated for later this month.

A ceremony was held on Sunday by the provincial Youth Union to launch the volunteer contingent. Nguyen Du Phat, one of the volunteers, said “We will help tourists at the venues of the Festival. We will also assist organizers and art performers in logistic work, instructing traffic, and disseminating brochures to visitors to Hue city.

Themed “Cultural heritage for integration and development – Hue, one destination, 5 heritages,” the biennial Hue Festival will take place from April 27 to May 2.
