(VOVworld) - The troops from the 173rd Airborne Brigade arrived on Tuesday and Wednesday in Yavoriv, western Ukraine, to spend six months training three battalions of Ukrainian troops.

Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs warned that the move of sending 300 US soldiers to Ukraine will ignite new clashes in eastern Ukraine. Russia has described the US’s move as its first step in providing weapons for the government troop to fight against the pro-Russia forces in Donbass. Moscow also said that the US plan is a clear violation of Minsk truce.
