The day before, the ACD Connect Business Forum 2016 let representatives from the private sector across Asia discuss innovative ideas to submit to the ACD summit.

Financial technology and financing infrastructure were two major topics of discussion by the 500 participants from 34 ACD member states.

In his speech opening the forum, Thai Prime Minister Prayut Chanocha highlighted the role of enterprises in regional growth. He said the forum clearly demonstrates the theme “One Asia, Diverse Strength”, where all countries work together and no one is left behind.

Established in 2002, The Asia Cooperation Dialogue consists of 34 countries from the Asian region. Nepal is the newest member.
