Le Dinh Cong and Le Dinh Chuc, who the court said masterminded the murder, are among 29 people in Dong Tam commune in Hanoi’s My Duc district charged with “resisting on-duty officers”.

The court also handed over sentences ranging from suspension to life imprisonment to the remaining 27 defendants.

The Procuracy said the defendants committed very serious crimes which were condemned by the public.
