(VOVWORLD) -17 national treasures, including archaeological relics, Nguyen Dynasty treasures and modern art masterpieces reflecting the brilliant imprints of Vietnam’s development periods, are being exhibited at the Ho Chi Minh City Museum of History.

The display of heritage masterpieces this time is a vivid testament to the length of history and culture of the nation, Nguyen Minh Nhut, Deputy Director of the municipal Department of Culture and Sports said at the opening ceremony on Sunday.

He expressed his hope that the exhibition will strike a chord with the public, spread the love of heritage, and raise awareness of protecting and preserving national treasures.
