Representative of both sides sign a hand-over report at the airport

The ceremony was held by the Vietnamese Office for Seeking Missing Persons and the US Defence POW/MIA Accounting Agency (DPAA)

The remains will be examined at DPAA’s laboratory in Hawaii. The remains were located through the effort of 80 US experts and 200 Vietnamese personnel working together in Quang Binh, Thua Thien-Hue, Quang Ninh, and other provinces in central Vietnam.
