14-day quarantine compulsory for passengers from ASEAN countries

(VOVWORLD) -The Vietnamese government has ordered concentrated quarantine for all passengers from ASEAN countries or those from other countries who have stayed or transited ASEAN member states amid worsening Covid-19 outbreak in the region.

These passengers within 14 days before the date of their entry into Vietnam are subject to compulsory concentrated quarantine for 14 days since the date of arrival, starting from 0am on Wednesday.

The Ministry of Transport also requires that all passengers on domestic flights fill in compulsory health declaration form during check-in and have their body temperature checked before boarding.
