The participants in the ceremony in Hanoi on Friday, said Pham Van Dong had a glorious revolutionary career which closely followed Vietnam’s revolutionary history. He was a great example of patriotism and dedicated his whole life to contributing to the revolution. Dr. Nguyen Trong Phuc is from the Ho Chi Minh National Academy of Politics and Public Administration: “Over the past 32 years serving as Prime Minister, Pham Van Dong made a great contribution to building the State apparatus, especially the executive and administrative sectors. His great contribution was recognized by the Party and people”.

Pham Van Dong was also a prestigious diplomat. As a politician, he attached great importance to promoting

the role of culture in revolutionary activities.
