Mr. Dam hailed the contributions to medical treatment of blood donation campaigns with large numbers of participants. Blood donation is a good deed that should be encouraged, Dam said.

The ceremony to honor blood donors highlighted a series of events in Hanoi and Phu Tho Province to celebrate World Blood Donor Day (June 14), including a gala and incense offerings to the Hung Kings, President Ho Chi Minh, and Vietnam’s martyrs.
