(VOVworld) - At least three soldiers and a local security guard were killed Thursday in an attack targeting a military convoy in the southeastern Turkish town of Bitlis, according to the Anadolu news agency.

Another car bomb attack that hit security forces in the eastern city of Elazig on Thursday left three dead and scores more wounded.
The Kurdistan Workers' Party (PKK) was blamed for the two attacks.
