(VOVWORLD) - At the exhibition “80 Years of Independence – Freedom – Happiness” at the newly inaugurated Vietnam Exposition Center in Hanoi, the Voice of Vietnam unveils a unique display that not only preserves valuable documents and artifacts but also narrates the broadcaster’s 80-year journey alongside the nation’s development.

Voice of Vietnam: 80 years with the nation - ảnh 9The loudspeaker, riddled with bullet holes, stands as a vivid testament to the “war of sound” at the 17th parallel. A veteran said: “Looking at this loudspeaker, full of wartime ‘wounds’, is like seeing my comrades, who fought by my side.”

Voice of Vietnam: 80 years with the nation - ảnh 11The highlight is the virtual reality (VR) experience zone, where visitors can travel back in time to Ba Dinh Square on September 2, 1945, when President Ho Chi Minh read the Declaration of Independence, giving birth to the Democratic Republic of Vietnam.
