(VOVWORLD) - As the first event of its kind to be held in the nation, F1 mini racing has attracted a large number of speed lovers in the capital, with the activity proving particularly popular among young people in recent times.

F1 mini racing first appeared in Hanoi two years ago. Following a long period of disruption caused by the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic, the race has since become a favourite among young people.

The Go Kart racecourse is the first of its kind in Vietnam. The site is located in Ha Dong district of Hanoi and typically draws hundreds of arrivals each day.

Karting is the first taste of racing for many drivers. Every Formula 1 driver has started their career in karting at some point, with the activity quickly becoming an incredibly popular sport for both professional drivers and amateurs who race as a hobby.

A go-kart is a type of sports car and is hugely popular in F1 mini racing.

On normal days the course typically receives over 100 arrivals per day. At the weekend the figure can increase by up to three times.

Customers must have their health checked before they can enjoy the full experience of F1 mini racing.

A customer pay 30 USD for a five-minute race and 45 USD for a 15-minute race.

The maximum speed of the car ranges from 50 to 70 kilometres per hour, depending on the skill of the driver.
