With a great passion to develop Vietnamese brand IT products, Vu Gia Luyen established the International Technology Solutions Joint Stock Company (ITS). Callbot, a technological product designed by Vu Gia Luyen and his company, is an automated switchboard solution for epidemic prevention and control. It can make millions of automatic calls to individuals who are COVID patients or in close contact with a patient.
Callbot received 4 million calls from these people requesting COVID-19 information, which eased the burden on healthcare workers. Currently, ITS holds copyrights for around 30 different technology products, some of which are exclusive in Vietnam, such as Voice Biometrics and KYC.
In October 2015, Luyen started his own business and co-founded the International Technology Solutions Corporation (ITS) with three other partners. Initially, ITS focused on providing telecommunications services and value-added solutions, international Copyright Ring Back Tones (CRBT) and mobile entertainment.
After the success in the telecommunications sector, Vu Gia Luyen and the team at ITS shifted their focus to the technology industry. After nearly four years, they launched new technology products, including Voice Brandname, Voice Biometrics, Callbot virtual assistant, Viet Signature for signature verification, video-based KYC customer authentication, and Smart Sales for sales management.
“Our company focuses on telecommunication solutions and Artificial Intelligence. The company is working with internet service providers to provide telecommunication platforms. Particularly, in our branded calling solutions, Voice Brandname, the caller ID information is authentic, so customers can decide whether to answer the call or not. This not only helps prevent frauds and scams but also facilitates access to targeted customers. At present, this solution is provided by Viettel, Mobiphone, and Vinaphone,” said Luyen.
Voice Brandname call solution is now being used by more than 6,000 enterprises and thousands of brandnames. Tran Ngoc Vinh, director of a company in Ho Chi Minh city, said, “Voice Brandname is a useful service, helping brandnames reach out to the customers and achieve higher customer answer rates. It also complies with the government’s decree on fighting spam messages, spam emails, and spam calls and increases the authenticity rate.”
Beside big businesses, ITS also supports small and medium enterprises. With the Smartbot system and Smartcall AI solution, ITS was selected as one of the three digital platforms that provide maximum support for hundreds of small and medium enterprises.

To compete with hundreds of IT solution development enterprises out there, Luyen’s company focuses on products which are sophisticated and beneficial to the community. This year ITS plans to develop an app that can digitize handwritten notes to replace current foreign systems.
“Luyen is an enthusiastic and creative person. He always has ideas for new products,” Engineer Nguyen Dang Tuan, who has worked at ITS for 5 years, said.
For more than 5 years, Luyen and his company have created a number of new technological products.
“A young person should always have dreams and do his or her best to realize those dreams. It is essential to try different ways to benefit society and make progress,” he said.
CEO Vu Gia Luyen and ITS have received numerous awards and recognitions, including Top 10 Outstanding young entrepreneurs in 2021, the Sao Khue Award 2021, the Smart city Award 2021, and the Digital Award for excellent Digital Transformation Products in 2019 and 2021. Luyen was also honored at The Glory of Vietnam 2022 Program.
