(VOVworld) - Indian Festival of Lights (Diwali) was celebrated by the Indian Business Chamber in Vietnam at Tay Ho Water Park, Hanoi, during the night of October 22. The “Happy Diwali 2016” attracted 2500 guests, including expats and Vietnamese. Diwali festival, which is normally celebrated every year in autumn is one of the major festivals of Hinduism in India. It signifies the victory of light over darkness, good over evil, knowledge over ignorance, and hope over despair. The celebrations of Diwali festival are not only held in India but all around the world.
This year’s event included Indian cultural programs, cuisine, and performances by Indian and Vietnamese artists and Bollywood entertainers. VOV5 captured some exciting moments at the event.
