Distinguished attendees included leaders from the Central Party Committee of National-level State-owned Enterprises’ Group, members of the Standing Committee, Board members, Board of Directors, and leaders of PVN’s socio-political organizations, who presented awards to the winners.

Tran Quang Dung, Member of the Standing Committee, Head of the Propaganda Department of the Party Committee, Head of the Department of Communication and Corporate Culture of Petrovietnam, and Vice Chairman of the Competition Council, declared the contest a resounding success, bringing joy, inspiration, and an unexpected depth of love to each officer and employee.

After nearly 5 years of developing the Communications and Corporate Culture Department and 4 years of implementing the Petrovietnam Cultural Regeneration Project, PVN has successfully established the Petrovietnam cultural value system. This includes a comprehensive history of the Vietnam Oil and Gas industry, the Petrovietnam Cultural Handbook embodying the core values typical of oil and gas personnel, and a brand identity system signifying Petrovietnam's aspirations in the new era. These values, unless actively promoted and embraced by each oil and gas worker, risk fading with time. To prevent this, cultural activities such as the Oil and Gas Cultural Week, Oil and Gas Spring of Gratitude, and humanitarian programs such as "Enthusiasm for Oil and Gas People" and "Sentiment to Oil and Gas People," among others, have been continuously revitalized. Additionally, various artistic events, publication of CEO diaries, and initiatives on energy and digital transformation have effectively propagated and upheld Petrovietnam's cultural values.

Amidst an extremely volatile period in the last 3 years, Petrovietnam has fostered a culture of adaptability, contributing significantly to the Group's stability in 2020, resilience in overcoming the "dual crisis," recovery of growth in 2021, and exemplary performance in production and business activities in 2022. This cultural transformation also led to Petrovietnam's 2023 brand value reaching approximately 1.4 billion USD, a threefold increase compared to 2019. The Group was recognized for meeting business culture standards in an appraisal according to the Prime Minister's criteria.

The "I Love Petrovietnam" contest, launched in Thai Binh on August 11, 2023, marked a symbolic start in the heartland of the Oil and Gas industry, instigating zeal and inspiration among participating employees. The contest spanned 5 days (August 14 to 18, 2023) and drew nearly 24,000 employees and workers. Units displayed proactive involvement, with many instituting detailed plans and internal incentives to motivate and encourage employee participation. Notably, multiple forms of internal communication and promotion were employed, including creative use of internal communication systems, information screens, standees at headquarters, social media platforms, and direct outreach through unit and union channels. The contest's 50 questions guided contestants through understanding the formation, development, and milestones of the Oil and Gas industry, the Group's development trajectory, and the essence of Petrovietnam culture.

Participation extended well beyond the digital realm, with officials, engineers, and oil and gas workers, each expressing a shared sentiment. The contest served as a platform for exchange and demonstration of devotion, pride, and understanding among oil and gas workers. The atmosphere was lively and engaging across all Group units, with a noteworthy surge in participants each day, culminating in a total of 23,895 test takers when the contest concluded at 24:00 on August 18, 2023.

Acknowledging the contest's results, Petrovietnam General Director Le Manh Hung commended the initiative as a pivotal step in the Group's cultural renewal strategy, reflecting the widespread embracement of Petrovietnam's culture throughout the organization. He expressed gratitude to the dedicated participants and expressed hopes that "I Love Petrovietnam" would evolve from a mere contest into a pervasive cultural ethos and way of work, fostering unity and commitment amongst employees. The spirit of love for Petrovietnam, he emphasized, will propel the Group towards sustained growth, truly befitting its standing as the foremost Industrial and Energy Group in the nation.
