- Oil and gas reserve increase was achieved 1 month and 10 days ahead of the whole year plan (reaching 12 million tons of oil equivalent/full year plan of 8-16 million tons of oil equivalent on November 20, 2023). Two new oil and gas discoveries were made at Block 16-2 (Ha Ma Vang -1X drilled well) and at Block PM3-CAA (Bunga Lavatera-1 drilled well) - This result is remarkable and important because since 2018 the Group has only made two new oil and gas discoveries in one year.
- Domestic oil exploitation has fulfilled the whole year plan 1 month and 18 days ahead (reaching 7.52 million tons on November 12, 2023), from the beginning of the year to the end of November 21, 2023 totaling 7.71 million tons, 2.5% higher than the yearly plan, making an important contribution to the Group’s fulfillment of the oil exploitation yearly plan (both at home and abroad) of 9.29 million tons on November 21, 2023, 1 month and 9 days earlier than the whole year plan.

- Petroleum production output (excluding Nghi Son) exceeded the whole year plan with 2 months and 25 days earlier (reaching 5.53 million tons on October 6, 2023); 10-month production reached 6.08 million tons, exceeding 10% of the yearly plan, up 6% over the same period in 2022.
- The Group's petroleum business output completed the whole year plan 2 months ahead (reaching 9.06 million tons on October 30, 2023, of which: PVOIL completed the whole year plan 3.3 million tons 4 months ahead; PVNDB expected to accomplish the whole year plan of 5.76 million tons 20 days ahead (on December 10-11, 2023). This affirms that Petrovietnam has well implemented the guidelines assigned by the Government, Prime Minister, and the Ministry of Industry and Trade, which says “In all situations, there should be no disruption or lack of petroleum supply to serve the socio-economic development task.”

The achieved results have shown the effectiveness of Petrovietnam's management and operations as well as the efforts of contractors and units in implementing exploration, production and business activities.
- The entire Group's budget submission completed the year's plan 5 months in advance (reaching 78.3 trillion VND on July 30, 2023); 10-month implementation reached 121 trillion VND, exceeding 54% of the yearly plan.
- Consolidated profit of the entire Group exceeded the yearly plan 4 months ahead (reaching 34.7 trillion VND by August 31, 2023); 10-month implementation reached 44.1 trillion VND, exceeding 27% of the yearly plan.
- Total consolidated revenue of the Group completed the whole year plan 2 months, 18 days in advance (reaching 413.7 trillion VND on October 12, 2023); 10-month implementation reached 440.4 trillion VND, exceeding 6% of the yearly plan.
- Total revenue of the Group's parent company fulfilled the whole year plan 1 month and 15 days ahead (reaching 181.6 trillion VND on November 15, 2023).
- Profit before tax of the Group’s Parent company completed the whole year plan 4 months ahead (reaching 10.9 trillion VND on August 31, 2023); 10-month implementation reached 18.9 trillion VND, exceeding 73% of the yearly plan.
The Group comprehensively achieved financial targets from 1.5 to 5 months of the 2023 full year plan assigned by the Government.
