(VOVworld)- Every year, from August to November, banks throughout Mekong River Delta are submerged due to flooding of the Mekong river upstream. Because the water doesn’t come all of a sudden but rises gradually, the local people don’t call it the “flood season” but “water rising season”. The peak of the water rising season from late October to November is ideal to discover the region’s wildlife.
