Most Venerable Thich Duc Thien, VBS Vice President and Secretary General, says Buddhist dignitaries and followers nationwide have strongly responded to the call of the Government and the Vietnam Fatherland Front to fight the disease and they have faith in the government’s efforts.

“We will continue to work closely with the Vietnam Fatherland Front and provincial Buddhist Sanghas in combating the epidemic. We have asked Buddhist dignitaries and followers to strictly follow all regulations of the Ministry of Health,” said Thien.

Sources of encouragement

Contributions of organizations, enterprises, and individuals to the fight against the coronavirus epidemic are very important. So far, more than 12 million USD have been raised and the figure is growing.
