Nguyen Duc Diane Thu Dung, President of the APCV, said: "I’ve never had a chance to participate in a traditional Tet celebration in Vietnam. Organizing a Tet celebration in Paris allowed us to experience the Tet atmosphere. People dressed up and were excited, which made us, the organizers, very happy."

This year’s program marked the 5th anniversary of the APCV and its new logo of a flying crane, a popular image on the Vietnamese bronze drum. On the occasion, the APCV established an Ao Dai Club.

André Tambouret, who attended the program, said: "The Vietnamese ao dai is very beautiful. You’re fortunate to have such a beautiful gown."

Since it was established in January 2019, the APCV has created 6 clubs for Vietnamese cuisine, education, tourism, arts, health, and now ao dai to inspire young Vietnamese people in France to learn more about Vietnamese culture.
