The article said since the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) forum was established 28 years ago, APEC has confirmed its role as the region’s leading cooperative mechanism. As the host country of APEC 2017, Vietnam, together with other members, will turn leaders’ determination into specific results, bringing APEC closer to the people and the business community and realizing the vision on the Asia-Pacific community of sustainable and inclusive growth in the 21st century. The President wrote that Vietnam wishes to continue its foreign policy of diversification, multilaterlization, integration, and befriending all members of the international community. Vietnam will work with other APEC members to foster an Asia-Pacific of peace, stability, dynamism, connectivity, and prosperity.
