(VOVworld) – VOV and the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor signed a coordination program on Tuesday to increase communication on trade union activities and workers’ movements on VOV for the next 5 years and reviewed cooperation between the two agencies over the last 5 years.
VOV will increase its broadcast time on the implementation of resolution 20 of the 10th Central Party Committee on building up the Vietnamese working class in the time of industrialization and modernization. VOV will also reflect important political events and major national events related to the working class and trade unions. VOV’s General Director Nguyen dang Tien said: “Our cooperation will be specified by our programs in the form of radio, TV and online. We suggest that specialized committees be established to draw experience in disseminating party and state policies on workers and changes of the working class and the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor.”
