(VOVworld) - Dien Bien province has held a ceremony to appraise individuals and organizations who donated objects and documents relating to the Dien Bien Phu campaign. Speaking at the event on Friday, Director of the provincial Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism, Pham Van Hung, said the contribution made to Dien Bien Phu Victory Museum will improve the exhibition quality and facilitate research purposes. Dao Ba Vi who served as a military nurse during the campaign said: “I donated to the museum my medical toolbox used during the Dien Bien Phu campaign. I hope that this kind of objects will help young people understand more about our resourcefulness and determination to gain victory.”
