He could soon be leaving Vietnam with the assistance of local health specialists, according to a group of leading Vietnamese health experts on Friday at a national consultation. A report compiled by Ho Chi Minh City-based Cho Ray Hospital indicates that the British pilot has been making a strong recovery and remains mentality stable. He is now entering the 22nd consecutive day of being disconnected from the life support machine and is able to communicate competently with doctors.

Since first being admitted to a local health facility, “patient 91” has spent a total of 107 days receiving treatment.
