Running through next Wednesday, the festival is featuring incense offering ceremonies, the spring opening ritual, the Con Son – Kiep Bac Spring Festival Culture, Tourism and Trade Promotion Week, the Heritage Book Festival and the themed exhibition “Heritage Moments,” and marathon races.

Nguyen Ba Thanh Long a visitor from Hai Phong city, said: “This year’s festival features many innovations. The organizers have standardized and expanded the scale. It is the most meaningful festival so far.”

Sharing her impression, Dinh Thi Thuy, another visitor from Hai Phong said:  “The festival has many new features, both in scale and organization. The festival space has been expanded, reflecting its status as a world heritage site.”

At the opening ceremony, residents and visitors enjoyed an art performance titled “Con Son – Kiep Bac: The Source of Heritage.”
