Mr. Hue asked for continued close coordination and mutual support for each other’s candidacy for membership in international organizations, particularly the United Nations, the Non-Aligned Movement, and within the ASEAN-African Union cooperation.
Ms. Bias thanked Vietnam for its assistance and support for her country throughout history, including its vote for Mozambique to become a non-permanent member of the UN Security Council for the 2023-2024 tenure.
She noted the two countries have signed many cooperation agreements in such fields as health care, education, and agriculture.
A number of Vietnamese enterprises are also engaging in the telecommunications and agricultural sectors of Mozambique, she said.
