At a meeting with OECD Secretary General Mathias Cormann on the sidelines of the OECD Ministerial Council Meeting (MCM), in Paris on Thursday and Friday, he called on the organization to continue its support for the implementation of the 15 projects within the Vietnam-OECD action plan for 2022-2026.
The two sides should step up their partnership on the basis of the memorandum of understanding (MoU) they signed, the Foreign Minister added, suggesting the OECD facilitate Vietnam’s more intensive integration into its specialized bodies.
Mr. Cormann applauded Vietnam’s role and responsible contributions to the OECD Southeast Asia Regional Program (SEARP) and said he values the Vietnam-OECD relationship. He pledged to work together with the country to select the specialized bodies that can help it keep abreast of global trends and standards for policy making.
