(VOVworld) - The national flag carrier Vietnam Airlines on Wednesday officially launched the Danang-Narita flight, the first one connecting Vietnam’s central city of Danang and Japan’s Tokyo capital. This has been the 10th route to Japan and the 3rd international flight from Danang operated by Vietnam Airlines after flights to Siem Reap in Cambodia and Seoul in the Republic of Korea.

Tran Chi Cuong, Deputy Director of Danang Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism, said: “The launching of the Danang-Narita flight reflects a great effort of Danang city and Vietnam Airlines. This has proven Danang city a safe, attractive, and friendly tourist destination. Japanese tourists demand high-quality products which requires Danang tourism sector to upgrade infrastructure and improve service quality.”
Vietnam Airlines operates the Danang-Narita flight on Airbus A321 aircraft 4 times a week.
