Speaking at an online meeting with the Election Committees of Da Nang city, Quang Nam and Quang Ngai provinces on Friday, Minister Lam told localities to handle violations of pandemic prevention to ensure the safety of voters, enhance communications on the election, and strengthen security in constituencies.

“Localities should actively adjust their election plans according to the pandemic situation, particularly for people in quarantine. It’s an unprecedented circumstance so we have to closely follow the situation. Ultimate safety for constituencies and ballots must be ensured,” Minister Lam said.
