The Party leader welcomed the RoK and his wife for visiting Vietnam right after the two countries upgraded their relationship to a comprehensive strategic partnership late last year.

Mr. Trong praised the outcomes of the talk between the two Presidents and urged the two countries to strengthen mutual understanding and mutual political trust through maintaining delegation exchanges at all levels.

The RoK President said over the past 30 years, the two countries have always treasured bilateral ties. Vietnam is the focus of the RoK’s cooperation in Asia. President Yoon Suk Yeol said his visit will be a start for the next 30 years of stronger cooperation between the two countries.
