At the government’s regular meeting for July with 34 provinces and cities on Thursday, the Prime Minister urged for extraordinary efforts to realize set targets of this year. He asked ministries, agencies, and localities to ensure smooth operations of the two-tier government, meeting the needs of citizens and businesses while closely monitoring national and global developments to enable effective responses.

“This is an important issue. The central and local levels must firmly grasp the situation and adopt flexible and effective solutions. We must fully mobilize the strength of the people, businesses, and society and promote national unity, intelligence, and decisiveness to handle complex or unforeseeable issues,” said Mr. Chinh.

The Prime Minister called for ensuring macroeconomic stability, controlling inflation, and promoting growth, close and effective coordination between monetary and fiscal policies, and flexible adaptation to US tariff policies. He reiterated the goal of building an independent, self-reliant economy, and deep international integration.

For the time to come, the Prime Minister stressed the need to review the campaign of eliminating temporary and dilapidated housing, inaugurate 200 construction projects by August 19, implement a Decree on prioritized visa policies, and focus on the organization of the National Day celebration.
