Notice from Ca Mau province People’s Court to SU TEK CHAN

(VOVWORLD) - The People’s Court of Ca Mau province would like to inform Mr. SU TEK CHAN on the divorce case filed by Ms. Lam Thi Thuy.

Mr. SU TEK CHAN was born in 1938. His address is No. 145, Lorong Singa Baru 2/4, Taman Singa Baru 2, 30000 Sitiawan, Perak, Malaysia.

Vietnamese citizen Lam Thi Thuy was born on June 5, 1987, and currently resides at Khuc Treo A hamlet, Phong Thanh commune, Ca Mau province, Vietnam (former address: Khuc Treo A hamlet, Tan Phong commune, Gia Rai town, Bac Lieu province, Vietnam).

Pursuant to Judgment No. 90/2025/HNGD-ST dated November 26, 2025, the Court ruled as follows:

1. Marriage: The marriage between Ms. Lam Thi Thuy and Mr. SU TEK CHAN is legally dissolved.

2. Children, division of assets, and common debts: No matters require adjudication.

3. Court fees and other legal expenses:

- Ms. Lam Thi Thuy shall pay 300,000 VND in first-instance civil court fees and 200,000 VND for overseas judicial entrustment. These amounts are deducted from the advance payments made under receipts No.0000483 (October 16, 2024) and No. 0000584 (November 8, 2024) at the Civil Judgment Enforcement Department of Bac Lieu province (now civil judgment enforcement of Ca Mau province). The collected fees are non-refundable.

- Ms. Lam Thi Thuy has to pay 3,000,000 VND for the judicial entrustment, which was already taken from a deposit court fee as described in Receipt No. 0000503 dated November 8, 2024 by the Civil Judgment Enforcement Department of Bac Lieu province (now civil judgment enforcement of Ca Mau province). The collected fee is non-refundable.

4. Publication fee:

The fee for publication in the Malaysian language on the Overseas service of the Voice of Vietnam is 2,750,000 VND (Two million seven hundred fifty thousand Vietnamese dong). Mrs. Lam Thi Thuy is responsible for covering the full amount and has already completed the payment.

4. Mrs. Lam Thi Thuy has the right to file an appeal against the Court’s ruling within 15 days after the decision is announced. The duration for Mr. SU TEK CHAN to file an appeal against the Court’s ruling is one month after the decree is announced.

If there is no response from Mr. SU TEK CHAN, the Court will carry out necessary procedures in his absence as stipulated by Vietnamese law.
