Thanh placed No 6 in the category of most saves. FIFA counted that Thanh successfully saved goals six times including in a penalty shootout in the match against the world No 1 ranked USA.

Thanh stopped a penalty by forward Alex Morgan, who hasn’t missed a penalty at the club level since 2021.

Thanh and her teammates are participating in training in Hai Phong city for the Asian Games (ASIAD 19) to be held in China next month.
