PM Chinh emphasized the vast potential for cooperation and urged the effective implementation of the Action Plan, and regular dialogues and consultations to fortify political trust between the two countries.
He suggested further expansion of defense and security cooperation, particularly in cybersecurity, digital transformation and equipment support to enhance Vietnam’s capacity. Mr. Chinh said he hopes to see breakthroughs in collaboration in human resource training and biomedical technology.
Minister Wong, who is in Vietnam to co-chair the 7th Vietnam-Australia Foreign Ministers’ Meeting, pledged to advance the Comprehensive Strategic Partnership between the two countries.
Measures include strengthening defense and security ties, expanding collaboration in science and technology, digital transformation and innovation, education and training, and human resources development through ODA projects and investment funds, she said.
