Party leader To Lam speaks at a conference on the supervision of the Standing Committee of the National Assembly’s Party Committee, Hanoi, March 6, 2026.

He made the request at a conference in Hanoi on Friday announcing the Politburo and the Secretariat’s decision on inspection and supervision of the Standing Committee of the National Assembly’s Party Committee.

Mr. Lam stressed that inspection and supervision by the Politburo are routine activities in the Party’s leadership, contributing to the effective implementation of Party resolutions, guidelines and policies, including the Resolution of the 14th National Party Congress.

He emphasized the importance of the upcoming elections, noting that requirements are higher and more comprehensive, closely aligned with practical demands. 

“The success of the elections depends on many factors, from communication to security and safety. The ultimate goal is to secure the strongest possible support from voters, ensuring full participation and strict compliance with election regulations, without unexpected problems,” the General Secretary said.
