The exhibition, organized by the Guimet Museum and the Friends of Marc Riboud Association, will run until next Wednesday.
The exhibition’s centerpiece is the iconic 1967 photograph, "The Girl with the Flower," which depicts a young American protester standing in front of the Pentagon, holding a flower while confronting armed soldiers. The image has since become a global symbol of peace.
In addition to Riboud’s powerful war-time photographs, the exhibition also features archival documents detailing his visits to Vietnam from 1966 to 1976, including reports and articles that reflect on the resilience and bravery of the Vietnamese people in their struggle for national independence.
