Leaders visit communities ahead of Lunar New Year Festival

(VOVWORLD) - Secretary of the Party Central Committee Nguyen Trong Nghia on Saturday presented 200 gifts to policy beneficiaries and disadvantaged people in Tien Giang province ahead of the 2025 Lunar New Year Festival (Tet).

On Friday, Deputy Prime Minister Ho Duc Phoc visited and presented 400 gift sets to poor households and workers facing difficulties in Ngan Son district in Bac Kan province.

He encouraged local people and officials to leverage the district’s potential and strive for better livelihoods. 

"I urge authorities at all levels to prioritize the well-being of the people, focusing on job creation, housing, and infrastructure development. As our nation continues to advance, we must take better care of the people, especially those who are vulnerable or in need," said Mr. Phoc.  

The same day, Deputy Prime Minister Le Thanh Long visited and delivered Tet gifts to policy beneficiaries and disadvantaged individuals in Bac Ninh province.

In Soc Trang province, Vice Chairman of the National Assembly Nguyen Duc Hai visited, extended Tet greetings, and presented gifts to policy beneficiaries, workers, and poor households. He also attended the 2025 "Tet Reunion" program at An Nghiep Industrial Park. 

National Assembly Vice Chairman Tran Quang Phuong visited Tuy Duc district in Dak Nong province to deliver gifts to officers, soldiers, and local residents in the border area.
