Mohamed Abu Selmia, the head of Al Shifa Hospital in Gaza City, said 3 men, including a health worker, were killed in an airstrike near a crowded tent camp where Gazans were sheltering in western Gaza City.

The Israeli military issued a statement on Sunday about the strike, claiming without providing evidence they had killed 2 Hamas members who had been preparing to attack Israeli soldiers. No militant group has claimed any of the men as members.

A little after midnight, an Israeli tank shelling killed at least 3 people, including 2 girls, and wounded 10 others, some of them children, according to health officials at Al-Awda Hospital in Nuseirat camp.

Lebanese media say Israel has continued attacks on the southern suburbs of Beirut. Hezbollah says it clashed with Israeli forces in eastern Lebanon and shot down one Israeli helicopter that entered from Syria.
