China will join COVAX to ensure developing countries access to vaccines and will encourage other developed countries to join COVAX, Zhao said. China has 4 vaccines in the 3^rd stage of testing.

COVAX is co-led by Gavi, the Coalition for Epidemic Preparedness Innovation (CEPI) and WHO. Its aims is to accelerate the development and manufacture of COVID-19 vaccine and to guarantee fair and equitable access for every country in the world.
